The charging infrastructure programme

What is funded?

Electromobility can make a considerable contribution to the fight against climate change, especially when interlinked with the energy revolution and electric vehicles are powered by electricity from renewable energy sources.
The aim of the funding programme is to boost the expansion of the charging infrastructure in Saxony-Anhalt and to support the implementation of the charging infrastructure concept. The concept aims to enable drivers to reach a public charging station without having to drive more than 15 minutes by car.

In particular, the following expenses for the construction of publicly accessible fast and normal charging infrastructure are funded in the charging infrastructure program:

  • Charging station
  • Civil engineering
  • Installation and commissioning
  • Start-up and weather protection
  • Traffic law marking and parking lot marking
  • Upgrading and replacement of existing systems with evidence of additional added value
  • Electrical mains connection
  • Construction subsidy

Who can be funded?

Natural and legal persons.

How high is the funding rate?

Normal charging point up to and including 22 kilowatts:
max. 60 per cent up to a maximum of 3,000 euros

Fast charging point from and including 50 kilowatts and less than 100 kilowatts:
max. 60 per cent up to a maximum of 12,000 euros

Fast charging point from and including 100 kilowatts:
max. 60 per cent up to a maximum of 30,000 euros

Grid connection per location:
max. 60 per cent up to a maximum of 5,000 euros for connecting the charging points with a charging capacity of less than 100 kilowatts to the low-voltage network and with a percentage of a maximum of 60 per cent up to a maximum of 50,000 euros for connecting the charging points with a charging capacity of 100 kilowatts or more to the medium-voltage network.

Applicants are invited to submit applications by way of separate calls for tender. 
The calls for tender specify in particular the scope of the grant and eligible expenses.

The fourth call for tender is now closed.; It is currently not possible to submit applications for grants to promote charging infrastructure for electric vehicles in Saxony-Anhalt.
