PlusBus Elbe-Havel-Stern: More frequent services, shorter journey times and new connections

From the beginning of 2024, the cities of Genthin, Havelberg, Tangermünde and Stendal will be connected hourly by the PlusBus Elbe-Havel-Stern. The new concept was developed by Nahverkehrsservice Sachsen-Anhalt GmbH (NASA) in cooperation with the districts of Stendal and Jerichower Land and aims, among other things, to reduce journey times. Passengers can now comment online on the latest timetable drafts.

The centrepiece of the new concept is Fischbeck with a so-called rendezvous stop. This is where four buses from four directions meet at the same time. Passengers can change conveniently and reliably in all four directions. For example, there are new connections between Genthin and Havelberg; between Jerichow and Tangermünde there are twice as many trips as before; and from Havelberg there are hourly express bus connections to Stendal and Tangermünde.

Changes to the current timetable drafts are still possible. Comments can be sent to NASA GmbH at www.mein-takt.de/Elbe-Havel until 5 November and will then be discussed with the districts and transport companies concerned.
