Day of the Rail 2024: NASA invites passengers to Magdeburg

As part of the Day of the Rail, Nahverkehrsservice Sachsen-Anhalt GmbH (NASA) is organising a passenger meeting in Magdeburg on 20 September. Places are still available for the event, which is aimed primarily at passengers travelling on regional trains in Saxony-Anhalt. They will have the opportunity to meet representatives of NASA GmbH and various railway companies at the event, which will focus on the "Deutschlandticket and the expansion of services", to receive up-to-date information from the industry and to voice their concerns directly.

To kick off the event, NASA and the transport companies will give short keynote speeches to set the scene for the open dialogue that will follow. In a relaxed atmosphere, participants will be able to voice their questions and suggestions on the topic of public transport.

NASA GmbH regularly seeks dialogue with passengers to discuss current challenges and issues in local rail passenger transport. This dialogue takes place via the digital passenger forum, at the presentation of the annual draft timetable and at the passenger meeting, which is taking place for the second time in this form.

The number of participants for the passenger meeting is limited to about 30 people. Interested parties can register by sending an e-mail to service@nasa.de by 8 September. Participants will be selected by lot.
